About WorthOrHype

WorthOrHype reviews direct-to-consumer products — the kind sold through a single sales page with a countdown timer and a guarantee in large type. We exist because that category is almost entirely covered by people paid to praise it, and someone should be counting the actual evidence instead.

How this site makes money

Affiliate commissions, disclosed on every page before the first link. We buy no ads and we sell none. Nobody pays us for a review, a score or a placement, and no vendor sees a page before it is published.

The obvious question is whether commission bends the verdict. Our answer is checkable rather than rhetorical: read the products we earn on that are rated Mixed or Hype. A site that only ever concludes “worth it” is a catalogue.

What we will not do

Publish a satisfaction percentage when we could not find enough reports to compute one.
Call something a scam in a headline to collect the search traffic for that word.
Reproduce a vendor's sales page and call it a review.
Present a manufacturer's health claim as an established finding. Those claims are always attributed.
Review a product with no verifiable trace, however well its keyword performs.

Who writes this

Research and editing are done by the WorthOrHype editorial team, and each review carries the date its facts were last verified. We are naming the editor who signs the reviews publicly — until that is finalised, pages are attributed to the team rather than to an invented expert, which is a line we are not willing to cross even temporarily.
