How we test
We do not test products in a lab, and we will not pretend to. What we do is the work a careful buyer would do and rarely has time for: find every real user report that exists, count them, read the guarantee against the company's own documents, and report what the evidence supports — including when it supports nothing at all.
1. We count the evidence before we form an opinion
Every review begins with a sweep across Reddit, Trustpilot, the Better Business Bureau, marketplace listings and complaint platforms. The number of genuine reports we find is published in the review, at the top, with the sources and the period covered. When we find five reports, we say five — we do not turn five into a satisfaction percentage.
2. We read the guarantee against the company's own paperwork
Sales pages and press releases from the same vendor routinely disagree about refund terms and prices. When they do, we quote both and tell you which one will actually charge your card. A “100% money-back guarantee” that requires you to pay return shipping is not 100%, and we name that.
3. We reject products with no real trace
A product enters our queue only if it has at least 15 verifiable user reports, or its own profile on Trustpilot or the BBB, or a genuine trail on Reddit. We have already turned down candidates with excellent search metrics because everything ranking for their name was affiliate spam. Reviewing them would have been profitable and dishonest.
4. We score on a 0–10 scale, and unverifiability costs points
A low score does not always mean the product failed. It often means nobody can show that it worked. We separate those two things in the text, because they lead to different decisions: one says avoid, the other says wait.
5. We say when we are not the right source
We are not doctors, and we are not financial advisers. Health claims described on this site are the manufacturer's and are attributed as such. When a symptom needs a clinician rather than a supplement, the review says that plainly, even when it costs us the sale.
